We Keep Us Safe, Qween Jean
We Keep Us Safe is comprised of five documentary short films. Each film features one of five activists in the NYC Black Lives Matter Movement. Each story, 5 - 7 minutes in length, highlights an activist, combining a mix of protest footage from photographs, videos, and interviews on the streets. We Keep Us Safe Qween Jean profiles Qween Jean, a trans activist fighting for trans visibility in the Black Lives Matter Movement.

Voice Shift
Jury Winner: Social Impact Award
Voice Shift follows transgender femme individuals as they seek a voice that reflects their gender identity. Guided by a trans vocal coach, the film weaves together stories from different stages of people's journeys. But this is more than an exploration of vocal technique, this is a film about identity and resilience - blending lived experience with a wider social commentary on the power and politics of voice.
