Where Black trans individuals are treated with fundamental respect and are free to live their lives authentically and without judgment or the threat of violence? Can you imagine a world where the work of an LGBTQ Center is no longer needed because we all exist in an inclusive, ethical, just society that values and supports every individual—no matter their sexual identity or gender expression? Can you imagine how colorful, brilliant, and beautiful this world will be when our society no longer marginalizes those who don’t conform, and instead celebrates and elevates our queer, gender-bending, rainbow-infused community? Can you imagine?! We can.
